Are you happy about the way you are?

I find this topic a little bit, well shallow. But I also take this seriously.

Before I got pregnant, I was 110 lbs. But yes I was skinny. I wasn’t really conscious about my weight. All my life I’m having problems on how to get fat. Being thin before isn’t really flattering for me. Everyone thinks that being thin is sexy though.  I find it disturbing that a lot of people starve themselves to death to look sexy.

It’s a shame, they should’ve given their money and food to those who are starving in Africa. Yet they complain that they are not beautiful enough.

I admit that I love fashion. But not as much as I follow the trend and wear what’s in and shun what is not.  If you know my background and where I’m coming from, I say that I can’t spend all my money to make myself look beautiful. I’m basically thinking of what’s more important than that. Not that I am completely neglecting my personal needs and wants.

I’m just comfortable the way I am unless you’d call someone from Ambush Makeover to completely change my looks (without the need of plastic surgery). 😛

Hey I don’t look like I’m wearing a rag or something. I mean I’m lucky enough to be able to eat 3-4 meals a day, have a roof on top of my head, sleep in a comfortable bed and be able to be with my family.

If we look at things closely and concentrate on what’s important, we’d realize how much we’ve taken everything for granted.
